Membership

One can become a member of FME. There are two different types of members:

  • ordinary members, intended for individuals interested in the activities of FME and who wish to contribute to the goals of FME.
  • constitutional members, intended for organisations that are interested in the activities of FME and that wish to contribute to the goals of FME.

See the FME statutes (available on the “Downloads” page) for details on both types of membership. For practical reasons it is only possible to become an ‘ordinary member’ at the moment. Currently there is no membership fee but this may change in the future.

FME members are entitled to a subscription at the reduced rate of £38,- per year to the journal “Formal Aspects of Computing”.

You can become a member by filling in the membership application form and sending it either via
