Dear FME member,
We will make another attempt at an Annual General Meeting of the Formal Methods Europe association instead of the cancelled meeting of April 20th.
The AGM will now take place in the Daley Room, Plassey House, University of Limerick, Ireland, on June 21st, 2010, 10:00-13:00. After the meeting Mike Hinchey will give us a tour of the campus and show the FM’11 venue.
All AGM documents (Agenda, Activity report, Financial Report, Plan) were e-mailed previously. Tell me if you need new copies of the files.
FME is in need of a new Independent Financial Examiner. The new Examiner shall check the financial statement of FME for the fiscal years 2010 and 2011 and he or she reports directly to the membership at the AGM (in writing, no physical presence is required, although preferred). The task involves checking the account sheets against the report provided by the Treasurer and usually requires only a few hours of work per year. Candidates who are interested to take this position please inform the Secretary, Lars-Henrik Eriksson. Candidates must be members of FME.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are going to attend the AGM so that we will have some idea of how many people to expect.

Dear FME member,
Due to the flight disruptions in Europe many Formal Methods Europe members, including most of the board and host Mike Hinchey will not be able to attend the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday.

The FME board will make new plans for the AGM — possibly an electronic AGM. We will be back to you when we know more.

You are invited to attend the FME Annual General Meeting for 2010, which will take place on Tuesday April 20th at the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre (Lero) in Limerick.
Lero will be the site of the 2011 FM symposium. Tthe AGM is hosted by Mike Hinchey, the general chair of FM’11.
